2023 Sketchbook Part 2
1. Tongue Twister
At the end of last year I had the pleasure of working with one of my art friends Vincent Kings. I did a cover variant for his sexy alien romance comic Tongue Twister. The story follows a young girl who is navigating the horrors of the modern dating world and the actual horrors of an alien slug species that is taking over the minds of young hormonal singles. I really hope this gets picked up because it is a fun and wild ride! Thanks Vince!
2. Art Process
This variant cover is the only art piece I have made in the last 4 months that isn’t small and cartoony, so I might as well highlight the process a bit. Here is the progression from concept to final inks.
Also here is a little bonus of a rejected concept that I thought would have also been a sweet cover.
3. 2023 Sketchbook Part 2 ( Horror Girls)
Last year, I published some of my 2023 graphite sketchbook drawings featuring the Fem Gym Chicks pumping some iron. But that was only part 1 of that sketchbook, The next installment showcases my horror girls section, which is exactly what it sounds like. You can check out Part 2 Here. These drawings get really weird but that was a really creative time for me and I am really proud of them so I thought I would share. Here are a handful of my favorites from the series:
